Meet The Owner
Liana (she/her) is a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. She is a queer, Asian American adoptee from South Korea who grew up in the long winters of northwestern Vermont. Her own life journey and intersectionality has shaped the way she understands identity, power, privilege, and resilience—not just as concepts, but as lived experience.
Upon graduating The Ohio State University, Liana explored a range of professional careers across multiple industries. These roles sharpened her communication skills, deepened her appreciation for human motivation, and confirmed her passion for curating meaningful connections.
Amidst the quiet and reflective moments of the COVID-19 pandemic, Liana felt a clear and steady pull toward the mental health field. She returned to her home state to pursue her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Vermont, graduating in 2022. There, she found the language and training for what had long felt natural: sitting with complexity, honoring people’s stories, and holding space for accountability and growth.
Clinically, Liana has worked with a diverse caseload across a variety of settings, supporting clients navigate identity exploration, life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, and the nuanced experiences of being human in a complicated world. Her approach is warm, casual, and gently curious. She believes therapy can be both grounding and transformative—a place for insight, humor, grief, and small but powerful shifts.
Above all, Liana believes that healing happens in relationship—and that every person deserves a space where they can show up unapologetically themselves.
